Does Fullers transport vehicles?
Fullers provides transport for foot passengers only. For vehicle transportation to Waiheke Island and Great Barrier Island, please contact SeaLink. Alternatively, take advantage of our Wheels on Waiheke deal by clicking on our Charters & Groups tab.
Is Fullers in Auckland associated with Fullers Bay of Islands?
No, we are two separate companies. Fullers Group Ltd operates ferries in the Auckland and Hauraki Gulf area.

I travel regularly with Fullers - what tickets are available for commuters?
A range of options are explained on our Commuter page which can be found under the Timetables & Fares tab. Alternatively, you can visit us at our ticket office on Pier 1 & 2 at the ferry terminal, downtown Auckland city, or contact us.
Where do the ferries depart from in central Auckland?
Fullers ferries depart from the downtown Ferry Terminal behind the Ferry Building, centrally located on Quay Street opposite Britomart Transport Centre. Tickets can be purchased from the ticket offices located on the pier.
FACILITIES ON BOARD VESSELS
Can food and beverages be purchased on the ferries?
A selection of food and beverages can be purchased on board Fullers vessels. The vessels are fully licensed with both non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages available for purchase. The food available onboard range from a selection of sandwiches and pastries to packets of chips & confectionery.
Is EFTPOS available on board the vessels and ticket offices?
Yes EFTPOS is available at all ticket offices and on most vessels. Services to Waiheke all have EFTPOS facilities onboard. All major credit cards are accepted but we DO NOT accept cheques unless under prior arrangement.
Is there an ATM machine on the wharf?
Yes. An ATM machine is located opposite the ticket office on Pier 1.
Can I take my dog on the ferry?
Yes, dogs travel free with any fare paying passenger. Animals are not permitted within cabin areas with the exception of official guide dogs. There is allocated seating on the external decks for those travelling with pets. Animals are not permitted to travel on ferries to islands in the DOC estate or on Discovery 360 tourist services. Please check with Fullers staff if you are unsure if this will affect your particular travel plans.
Can I take my bike on the ferry?
Yes, bikes travel free with any fare paying passenger but is subject to available space. Bike hooks can be found on the external rear decks of most of our ferries. Using these hooks reduces the potential of your bike falling and causing damage or injury. Where these hooks are unavailable please ensure you position your bike safely and out of the way of other passengers. Note that bikes are not permitted on services to Department of Conservation (DOC) managed islands.
Where can I park my car if I am travelling on the ferry?
There are a variety of car park buildings close to the downtown Ferry Terminal, the closest being the downtown Car Park located on the corner of Customs Street West and Albert Street.
