GENERAL

Does Fullers transport vehicles?

Fullers provides transport for foot passengers only. For vehicle transportation to Waiheke Island and Great Barrier Island, please contact Sealink or Waiheke Shipping. Alternatively, Fullers has teamed up with a car hire company and can offer you special deals.

Is Fullers in Auckland associated with Fullers Bay of Islands?

No, we are two separate companies. Fullers Group Ltd operates ferries in the Auckland and Hauraki Gulf area.

DEPARTURE LOCATION

Where do the ferries depart from in central Auckland?

Fullers ferries depart from the Downtown Ferry Terminal behind the Ferry Building, centrally located on Quay Street opposite Britomart Transport Centre. Tickets can be purchased from the ticket offices located in this area.

 

FACILITIES ON BOARD VESSELS

Can food and beverages be purchased on the ferries?

A selection of food and beverages can be purchased on board Fullers vessels. The vessels are fully licensed with both non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages available for purchase. Food available ranges from a selection of sandwiches and pastries to packets of chips & chocolate.

Is EFTPOS available on board the vessels and ticket offices?

Yes EFTPOS is available at all ticket offices and on most vessels. Services to Waiheke all have EFTPOS facilities onboard. All major credit cards are accepted but we DO NOT accept cheques unless under prior arrangement.

Is there an ATM machine on the wharf?

Yes, there is one on the back wall opposite the Pier One ticket office in the Downtown Auckland Ferry Terminal. There is also one on QEII square outside the HSBC Bank and several in and around the Downtown Mall.

 

CAR PARKING

Where can I park my car if I am travelling on the ferry?

There are a variety of car park buildings close to the Downtown Ferry Terminal, the closest being the Downtown Car park located on the corner of Customs Street West and Albert Street.
