CHANGE TO WAIHEKE - HALF MOON BAY SERVICE & LAUNCH OF NEW WAIHEKE - RANGITOTO WEEKEND SERVICE

Fullers Group Ltd announces timetable changes to its existing weekend ferry service from Matiatia to Half Moon Bay, as well as the launch of a new weekend service from Matiatia to Rangitoto Island. The new timetable and services will operate on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from Saturday 6th December until Sunday 26th April, 2009 inclusive.
Matiatia – Half Moon Bay service
With the introduction of the new timetable, sailings will depart from Matiatia to Half Moon Bay at 9.20am, via Rangitoto Island and Motutapu, and direct at 11.50am and 4.15pm. Direct sailings will depart from Half Moon Bay to Matiatia at 8.30am, 11am and 3.25pm. Return fares are Adult $25 and Child $12.50 and one way fares are Adult $12 and Child $6. SuperGold card holders travel free of charge, and a discounted ‘Early Bird' same day return fare (Adult $15 and Child $7.50) will apply to the 9.20am departure from Matiatia and 8.30am departure from Half Moon Bay.
Matiatia – Rangitoto service
The launch of a new ferry service from Matiatia to Rangitoto Island opens up an exciting day trip opportunity for Waiheke Islanders. This service will depart Matiatia at 9.20am every Saturday, Sunday and public holiday with a journey time of approximately 20 minutes. A discounted ‘Early Bird' same day return fare applies (Adult $15 and Child $7.50). The return service will depart Rangitoto at 3pm (sailing via Half Moon Bay) with a journey time of approximately 1 hour.
