FULLERS CHOOSES WAIHEKE AS DESTINATION FOR TEAMBUILDING EXERCISE

Auckland, 05 August, 2008 – Fullers Group sending staff to Waiheke for exciting teambuilding event Fullers group today announced Waiheke will be the destination for the first of several staff teambuilding events.
One employee from each department of the business has been chosen to participate in a day of team building exercises using Waiheke suppliers. In total thirteen Fullers staff will participate in the keystone event which will also be used for staff to review Fullers current and new tours on the island.
The team building and product learning exercises on Waiheke Island will take place on Thursday 7th and Friday 8th August 2008.
Fullers Operations Manager Ian Greenslade said:
“Waiheke was the natural choice for our first teambuilding event of 2008 as Fullers and its staff has a natural affinity to the Island. Greenslade continued; “whilst the event is primarily about teambuilding, the event is also vital for our staff to try first hand the products we offer and provide recommendations for possible improvements to our customer offer.'
The start of the 2008 series of staff teambuilding exercises follows on from similar successful exercises in the late 1990's known as the “Barrier Assault” when Fullers sent staff to Great Barrier Island, this exercise is hoped to be the first of several this year involving a number of Fullers staff.
The thirteen staff will be joined by the Fullers management team for a dinner on the Thursday evening at a local Waiheke restaurant.
A presentation will subsequently be given by the team to management upon return to their workplace including suggestions for improvements on existing products.
