Aucklanders have Rangitoto Island at their doorstep, yet many have never been. Now's your chance to explore it and enjoy the spectacular views of the city and the surrounding islands of the Hauraki Gulf.

This trip is suitable for anyone interested in getting to know Rangitoto Island better, and will provide a basic overview of the island with a bit of a tramp. It will be a moderately energetic day so make sure you wear some suitable, sturdy shoes. The terrain is pretty uneven and steep in places but well worth the effort.
