Commuter Tickets and Passes

If you travel regularly with Fullers, various discounted passes and tickets are available to make your travel more cost effective (see below). You may also be interested in signing up to our text alert service, which will send texts to you if there are any changes to your chosen service.

WEEKLY PASSES

Maxx 7 Day Pass ($41)

If you commute from Devonport or Bayswater and also use the bus, this pass is particularly cost effective as it covers ferry travel and bus services between these wharves and Takapuna for seven consecutive days. It's also valid on our Birkenhead, Northcote Point and Stanley Bay services, but doesn't include bus travel from these wharves. For further information visit the Maxx website.

Waiheke Workers Weekly Pass ($104)

This allows ten one way trips between Auckland and Waiheke over seven consecutive days from day of purchase. It's different to a regular ten trip ticket as it is printed with an expiry date on it. This is also valid for one clip only.

MONTHLY PASSES

Fullers Monthly Passes (cost varies - see Timetables & Fares)

Monthly passes are valid for one calendar month from the first day of that month. When purchasing your pass for the first time, you'll need to fill out a Captain's Club Application Form and give this and a passport sized photograph to our ticket office staff. They then make up your pass and each month you pay for a new sticker to be added, displaying the name of the month. Note that the Waiheke Island monthly pass also includes bus travel on Waiheke Island and NZ Bus buses.

Monthly Discovery Pass ($240)

If you travel to or from the North Shore and also use buses or trains as part of your journey, this pass offers you unlimited travel on most public transport services for one calendar month. Not valid for Waiheke or Half Moon Bay ferry travel. No ID is required for this card – you just purchase a new pass each month. For further information visit the Maxx website.

MULTI TRIP TICKETS

10 Trip Tickets (cost varies - see Timetables & Fares)

A more cost effective way to buy your ferry travel if you are likely to make up to ten one-way trips over an extended period of time. These tickets can be used at any time (i.e. they do not restrict you to a particular week or month of travel) and expire only when all ten trips have been completed. For each one-way trip, your ticket will be clipped – please be aware that there are limits on the number of clips per trip (i.e. usually no more than two people can use the ticket at a time, but this number can vary depending on the destination). A 10 trip concession ticket for children and seniors is also available.

Waiheke 40 Trip Tickets ($461)

Same as the ten trip tickets, but these are valid for Waiheke Island travel only. Again, these are limited to a maximum number of two clips per trip, have no time restriction for use and are valid for one year from date of purchase.

STUDENTS

Inner Harbour & Half Moon Bay 10 Trip tickets (for cost, see Timetables & Fares)

If you are currently a student, you are entitled to a discounted ten trip ticket for whichever service you use. This ticket can be purchased upon presentation of your tertiary ID card and the tertiary Maxx sticker, which is available from your institute of study.

Waiheke Tertiary Monthly Pass ($276)

If you are currently a student and live on Waiheke Island, you are entitled to a discounted monthly pass, provided you have a current tertiary ID card to prove you are studying. To get both passes you will need to fill out a Tertiary Pass Form (which needs to be stamped by your tertiary provider) and a Captains Club Application Form, and provide both forms together with two passport size photographs to our Matiatia Ticket Office (one for each pass). Production of the pass takes 2-3 working days. This pass is only available at Matiatia.
