Waiheke Island Freight Service
Fullers Waiheke Island Freight service offers a convenient means of transporting your freight to and from Waiheke without any fuss. Be it a domestic dishwasher or small household items, perishables or general food items, our reliant freight service will transfer your goods in a fast and efficient manner.
Fullers freight service operates between Auckland Downtown Wharf and Matiatia Wharf seven days a week all year round (including public holidays). Every day there are 5 freight sailings from Auckland Downtown Wharf and 4 freight sailings from Matiatia Wharf. Please note this is a wharf to wharf service.
Freight charges vary depending on the size and weight of your item. Where customers intend to send bulk items, small or large freight cages can be hired. For your convenience a courier service, for delivery on Waiheke Island, can be pre-arranged at a small additional cost. Please contact the Auckland Freight office for more information.
Conditions for service:
- Freight/ packages need to be labelled and securely packaged.
- Fragile contents need to be labelled and brought to the attention of freight staff.
- Large or unusual items are transported at the discretion of freight staff.
- Fullers will not be held accountable for breakages due to faulty packaging.
- Any item not packaged is transported at owner’s risk.
- Fullers liability for freight that is under Fullers' care and control is limited to liability pursuant to the Carriage of Goods Act 1979. The Act limits Fullers' liability to $1,500 per person. Consignors are advised to arrange their own insurance cover for amounts over $1,500.
*Please note: Freight needs to be delivered to the Fullers Freight Office/Depot at least 45 minutes before the freight sailing time.
