As a part of Auckland Council’s vision to transform the waterfront into an attractive, people friendly environment, Auckland Transport is redeveloping the downtown area, including the ferry terminal.
With the works progressing on the Downtown project and public space, Auckland Transport is making changes to some ferry services, starting Monday, 2 December.
In the New Year there’ll be more changes to services in the ferry basin while the new public space is being built.
Auckland Transport has made new queueing arrangements at Pier 4 to manage increased passenger traffic. Please follow signage to navigate around the wharf or ask a wharf host for directions.
Due to the increased number of vessels using shared berths, there may be delays on some of our ferry services. We’re working closely with Auckland Transport and the Harbourmaster to alert our customers in advance of disruptions.
We are working collaboratively with Auckland Transport to minimise the impact to our customers. In the New Year there’ll be more changes to services in the ferry basin while the new public space is being built, we will notify our customers of these changes ahead of time.
During this phase of redevelopment, we encourage you to please allow more time while travelling. Thank you for your understanding and patience.
Please note, at this time there are no changes to Fullers360 ferry timetables, customers will be alerted of any changes or delays ahead of time.
