Waiheke Reserve

The Waiheke Reserve ferry is a seasonal ferry service to Waiheke Island operating from October to March. The Waiheke Reserve service lets visitors pre-book the date and departure times before travel to and from Waiheke Island.   

 The Waiheke Reserve ferry sails at key visitor times throughout the peak season, offering bookable return sailings. Choose from 9am, 10:15am or 11am sailings from pier 13/14 departing the Auckland Ferry Terminal; depart on 4:30pm or 5:15pm  sailings from pier 3 in Matiatia Ferry Terminal. The Waiheke Reserve is the perfect choice for those with fixed travel schedules, return the same day or book a return sailing up to three weeks from your date of departure.  

The Waiheke Reserve ferry will depart from piers 13 and 14 at the downtown Auckland Ferry Terminal. Pre-book your preferred departure time when booking. Sailings from downtown Auckland are at 9am, 10:15am or 11am. Your ticket is valid for the time indicated on your ticket. Boarding will open up to 15 minutes prior to departure.   

The Waiheke Reserve ferry will depart from pier 3 at the Matiatia Ferry Terminal. Pre-book your preferred departure time when booking. Sailings from Matiatia Ferry Terminal depart from 4:30pm or 5:15pm. 

Your ticket is valid for the time indicated on your ticket. Boarding will open up to 15 minutes prior to departure. 

If you miss your booked sailing, your return Waiheke Reserve ferry ticket allows you to board any Fullers360 Waiheke Walk-up sailing within 12 months of the ticket date. Please note that Walk-up sailings are on demand, so during peak season, we recommend you arrive at least an hour before your preferred sailing.  

The Waiheke Walk-up is the primary passenger ferry service offering high frequency, regular sailings to Waiheke Island year-round. A Waiheke Walk-up ferry ticket is valid for any scheduled Waiheke Walk-up sailing, up to a year from purchase date.   

 The Waiheke Walk-up ferry will depart from piers 11 and 12 at the downtown Auckland Ferry Terminal. If you are departing from Waiheke, the Waiheke Walk-up ferry will depart from pier 1 at the Matiatia Ferry Terminal. In the peak season, Fullers360 operates the Waiheke Walk-Up ferry with a summer timetable that includes additional frequency to meet demand. During peak times we recommend customers on the walk-up service arrive at least an hour before their preferred sailing.
