Customer Update - Labour Weekend Travel

Labour Weekend is one of our busiest weekends in the lead up to summer. If you're planning on travelling to/from our island destinations, especially Waiheke, we recommend you plan ahead and arrive for your preferred sailing at least 40 minutes prior to departure.

We've put together some helpful tips to help make your trip as smooth and enjoyable as possible - these can be found on our website.

Changes to Ferry Terminal Departure Points, starting 9 October 2017

Due to repairs needed to be made to the seawall below the Downtown Ferry Terminal, Pier 1A will be closed while work’s are carried out. It’s expected the repairs will take up to 6 - 10 weeks to complete and during this time, your usual ferry departure point may change:

The new departure points are listed below:

  • Pier 1B - Devonport and Stanley Bay (no change),
  • Pier 1C - Bayswater, Birkenhead and Half Moon Bay,
  • Pier 2B & 2C - Waiheke (no change),
  • Pier 2B - Half Moon Bay services departing at 4.15pm, 5.15pm and 5.45pm (all other Half Moon Bay services will remain at pier 1C),
  • there will be no change to the use of piers 3 and 4.
