The Fullers360 Auckland to Rotoroa return ferry is currently taking a break from its scheduled services. In the meantime, on the 23rd August, our friends at Rotoroa Island are hosting a new released Takahe. You can also come and help with key tasks on the island, click here to find out more and book a ticket on this sailing.

We hope to be back cruising regularly to this incredible part of the Hauraki Gulf shortly, please check back in with us soon.

Rotoroa is a small island with a lot of history. For over 100 years, this island was off-limits to all but a few souls isolated there for alcohol and drug rehabilitation in the care of the Salvation Army. Today Rotoroa is accessible to everyone as an arts, heritage and conservation estate.

Visit the island's award-winning museum and exhibition centre located at Home Bay and learn about its history and years as a rehab centre. Step into some of the old preserved buildings and catch a glimpse of the past - a tiny jail, a chapel and a schoolhouse.

  • Open hours: 10.00am - 5.00pm
  • Entry fee of $5 per person
