Fullers and 360 Discovery strive to offer accessible and affordable transport to all our passengers travelling with access challenges and those with limited mobility.
 

INNER HARBOUR SERVICES (DEVONPORT, BAYSWATER, BIRKENHEAD, NORTHCOTE POINT AND STANLEY BAY) AND HALF MOON BAY

Concessionary fares are available to qualifying passengers who travel with an Auckland Total Mobility ID card or NZ Foundation for the Blind card. To obtain these fares you must show your ID card. For more information on Auckland Total Mobility ID card, contact Auckland Transport on 09 366 6400 or visit at.govt.nz.

At Fullers and 360 Discovery’s discretion, the carer of a person with the Auckland Transport Total Mobility ID card or NZ Foundation for the Blind card is entitled to travel for free on the same journey to assist the passenger. Appropriate ID must be shown at the time of purchase in order for the carer to be eligible for this concessionary fare.

Although there is no discount for those with Mobility or Foundation for the Blind cards on our Tour products, at Fullers and 360 Discovery’s discretion, carers who are required to assist these passengers may also travel free.  Appropriate ID must be shown at the time of purchase in order for the carer to be eligible for this fare.

WAIHEKE ISLAND

The ferry services to and from Waiheke Island are not included in Auckland’s public transport subsidy scheme. However, Fullers has developed its own subsidy programme to support people travelling with Mobility or Foundation for the Blind cards.

At Fullers' discretion, the carer of a person with the Auckland Transport Total Mobility ID card or NZ Foundation for the Blind card is entitled to travel for free on the same journey to assist the passenger (this excludes Fullers tour products). Appropriate ID must be shown at time of purchase in order to be eligible for this concessionary fare.

Passengers who travel on a regular basis may want to take advantage of our discounted multi trip tickets.

CONDITIONS OF ACCESSIBLE TRAVEL

Most of the Fullers fleet are wheelchair accessible via ramps. Ferry wharves are also wheelchair accessible at the following locations:

  • Auckland downtown Ferry Terminal
  • Bayswater
  • Birkenhead
  • Devonport
  • Half Moon Bay (accessibility is vessel dependant)
  • Northcote Point (accessibility is tidal dependant)
  • Waiheke Island (Matiatia)

Please note: Extreme tide or weather may mean that some of the listed destinations become inaccessible to wheelchairs.

Wharves and ferries which are not wheelchair accessible:

  • Rangitoto wharf and Islington Bay wharf (Rangitoto Island)
  • Stanley Bay wharf
  • Osprey (operates most off-peak week day services to Birkenhead, Northcote Point and Bayswater)
  • Coromandel (via Orapiu)
  • Rotoroa Island (via Orapiu)

Buses on Waiheke Island are not wheelchair accessible and it is recommended that a taxi is used.

GULF HARBOUR FERRY FARE CHANGES

Effective from 29 January 2017

Auckland Transport will be making changes to some cash and AT HOP fares for Gulf Harbour, including the removal of the 40-trip ticket. This ticket will no longer be available for purchase from 29 January 2017. Passengers carrying this ticket type can continue using it for 12 months from date of purchase.
