Unaccompanied Minors

Fullers and 360 Discovery strongly recommend a parent, guardian or older relative accompany any child under 14 years of age on all services. We cannot and will not take any responsibility for the supervision and care for children under 14 years of age under any circumstances.

If you wish to have your child travel unaccompanied on our services, please complete the 'Unaccompanied Minors Form' for Fullers or 360 Discovery and hand it to staff at our ticket offices prior to putting your child on-board.

By allowing your child to travel unaccompanied, you acknowledge that the child will be able to follow crew safety instructions and act appropriately throughout the service. You also acknowledge that we cannot and will not be responsible for the supervision or care of any unaccompanied child.

Children under 5 years of age are to be accompanied by a parent or guardian on our services at all times. If Fullers’ and 360 Discovery staff believe that the child or children under 14 years would not be able to travel safely unaccompanied, they reserve the right to refuse to allow them to travel unaccompanied.

Fullers and 360 Discovery will endeavour to ensure all its passengers travel safely on-board our services, but will not specifically supervise or care for any unaccompanied minor. It’s expected that all passengers and unaccompanied minors act in accordance with our terms and conditions of carriage, and follow any safety instructions issued by staff.

Fullers and 360 Discovery highly recommend unaccompanied minors are dropped off and collected at ferry terminals by a parent, guardian or relative as some terminals are unattended.

Orapiu Wharf – temporary closure

Over the past 4 months Orapiu Wharf has been partially closed due to the steps and boarding platforms requiring repair. We’ve continued operating our service by utilising the front face of the wharf, but this has come with many challenges.
Due to safety concerns for both our crew and passengers, we’ve made the decision to suspend services to the wharf until repairs are made.
Auckland Transport will undertake repairs and have advised they’ll endeavour to have these completed in order for the wharf to be operational prior to Easter.

We understand that Orapiu is a vital link for residents on Waiheke Island for travel to and from Coromandel, and apologise for the inconvenience this may cause you. During the time of this temporary closure, passengers will need to depart from downtown Auckland.

If you have travel booked departing from Orapiu please contact 360 Discovery on 09 307 8005.

Gulf Harbour Service Update

Yesterday Discovery 3 finished refueling at 5.30pm and had an issue with a starter motor.

We immediately arranged a bus to replace the 5.45pm service, however because of the short time frame this meant we were only able to get a bus at approximately 6.00pm.

Shortly after this a temporary repair was made to Discovery 3 and we made the decision to relocate the vessel to Gulf Harbour to minimise crew working hours. Overnight we replaced the starter motor and she was back in service this morning.

We apologise for the inconvenience this disruption may have caused you.

Kind regards,

360 Discovery Team
