Ferry Tickets

The Waiheke Walk-up ferry will depart from pier 1 at the Matiatia Ferry Terminal. Ticket is valid on Walk-up sailings for up to one year from date of purchase. Walk-up sailings operate on a first come, first served basis.

Kids travel free these school holidays. Take up to two children to Waiheke Island for free with a full-paying adult fare. Tickets valid from 4 July to 19 July 2026.

Depart Auckland from 1pm (inclusive), Monday – Sunday, Depart Waiheke from 7pm (inclusive), Monday – Sunday. Scanning will be available 15 minutes prior to departure. Travelling outside of these times requires a standard return ticket. Terms and conditions apply. Return sailings between Devonport and Waiheke are not eligible for this deal. Valid one year from date of purchase.
