For added certainty, choose the Waiheke Priority bookable service, or alternatively travel on the Waiheke Standard Walk-up ferry, arriving at least 30 minutes prior to your preferred sailing during busy summer periods.

Head to Auckland’s Downtown Ferry Terminal and board your Fullers360 Waiheke Priority ferry from piers 11 and 12.

Upon arrival, exit Waiheke Island’s Matiatia Ferry Terminal and catch either the Eastern Explorer Bus. Look out for one of our friendly wharf ambassadors to help guide you to the correct bus. The buses depart directly in front of the terminal.

Eastern Long Lunch - FAQ's
Waiheke Island ferry service, available on every Standard Walk-Up sailing, every day of the year. Book the sailing that suits your plans, head to the dedicated Priority Lane at Downtown Auckland or Matiatia, and board first with first choice of available seating. Your ticket is valid for the date and sailing you book, so book your return at the same time. If you miss your sailing, your ticket still works on any Standard Walk-Up sailing for a year from the date of the missed service.
The Waiheke Reserve ferry will depart from piers 13 and 14 at the downtown Auckland Ferry Terminal and the Waiheke Walk-up ferry departs from piers 11 and 12 at the downtown Auckland Ferry Terminal. Customers will need to be on the 10:00am service to Waiheke Island to ensure they are on time for the tour.
Your Waiheke Priority ferry departs from piers 11 and 12 at Downtown Ferry Terminal. Head to the Priority Lane to board first. Please book the 10am sailing to Waiheke Island so you arrive in time for the tour.
The Eastern Long Lunch offers a seamless experience, starting with a Waiheke Walk-up ferry or the Waiheke Reserve (depending of the package you choose) ride from downtown Auckland and returning from Matiatia Ferry Terminal. Upon arrival, you'll be greeted by your tour coach and guide or our Eastern explorer bus depending on your lunch venue, who will transport you across the island. Enjoy your long lunch at Waiheke Distilling Co., Passage Rock or Man O' War vineyards.
Of course. If you'd like to stay on Waiheke Island after the tour, just let your tour coach know. With Waiheke Priority, your return is booked for a set sailing, so choose the one that suits your plans when you book. If you miss your sailing back from Waiheke Island, just let our team know and they'll get you on the next Standard Walk-Up sailing.
Terms and conditions
Tour is for adults only. Children aged 16 years old or older may also attend, as long as they are accompanied by a parent or guardian.
