Waiheke Walk-up
Waiheke Island boasts 92km2 of pristine beaches, stunning coastal headlands, wineries, olive groves and seaside villages and is just a 40-minute ferry from downtown Auckland. One of our most popular destinations, Waiheke Island has been rated as one of the top island escapes in the world.
Waiheke Reserve
The Waiheke Reserve ferry is a seasonal ferry service to Waiheke Island operating from October to April. The Waiheke Reserve service lets visitors pre-book the date and departure times before travel to and from Waiheke Island.
The Waiheke Reserve ferry sails at key visitor times throughout the peak season, offering bookable return sailings. Choose from 9am, 10:15am or 11am sailings from pier 13/14 departing the Auckland Ferry Terminal; depart on 4:30pm or 5:15pm sailings from pier 3 in Matiatia Ferry Terminal. The Waiheke Reserve is the perfect choice for those with fixed travel schedules, return the same day or book a return sailing up to three weeks from your date of departure.
