Both packages include complimentary pick up by EcoZip Adventures from Matiatia Ferry Terminal and include a Waiheke highlights tour of the top sightseeing spots on your journey to EcoZip’s visitor centre on the top of Trig Hill. Here the team will check you in, get you geared up and readied for one of Auckland’s most eco-friendly activities. Three 200m dual flying fox zip lines will fly you smoothly side-by-side down into a stunning tract of original and regenerating native bush. Enjoy a change of pace after your zipline experience with an easy 1.4km (0.9mile) guided nature walk back to base for nature lovers of all ages.

If you’re doing the EcoZip + Ferry package, you can choose from a range of drop-off locations afterwards to allow you to further explore the island at your own pace.

If you’re doing the Zip, Wine and Dine package, you will be dropped back to Matiatia Ferry Terminal in time for the 11.45am departure of the Fullers Taste Tour. Here you’ll enjoy wine and olive tasting at 3 vineyards and an olive grove, plus have the chance to indulge in locally produced foods such as mouth-watering preserves and world class olive oils. Tour includes a light lunch at Stonyridge Vineyard.

Additional Information

No Zip, Wine, Dine + Ferry packages are sold on Christmas Day, Good Friday or ANZAC Day. Vineyards on this tour may change without notice. People must be 18 or over to attend this tour. Children 16 or above may also attend, so long as they are accompanied by a parent or guardian. Adult fares will applyPassports are required for proof of ID to purchase or consume alcohol.

 

Age limits

There is no age limit, but participants under 18-years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian properly authorised to agree to Eco Zip's Booking Terms and sign the Participation Waiver on the minor's behalf.

 

Weight Limits
To participate in the EcoZip experience you need to weigh at least 30kg (66lbs) and not more than 125kg (275lbs).

If you think you or one of your party might be outside these parameters we recommend jumping on a set of bathroom scales to check. Sadly, and as much as we’d love to ‘zip’ you, if you fall outside these weight limits you won’t be able to participate. And just so we can never be accused of being ‘weightist’...EcoZip weighs everyone at check-in!

Gulf Harbour Travel Update 22nd Sept 2017

We have encountered a mechanic issue on a vessel tonight. Engineers have attended tonight but we have been unable to repair. Therefore, tomorrow Friday 22nd Sept, the 7:30am Gulf Harbour to Auckland service will be via bus replacement.

Coromandel/Rotoroa Island service update for Sunday 24th September 2017

Please be advised that the service for Sunday 24th September will depart Coromandel at 1630 as scheduled and take a scenic journey on route to Rotoroa Island. The departure from Rotoroa Island is delayed due to low tides by 45 minutes. Departure from Rotoroa Island will be at 1800 and arriving in Auckland at approximately 1915.

Waiheke Customer Update, 29.8.17

Our vessel survey season is well underway, and the majority of vessels have had their annual checks in time for the busy summer season ahead.

Quickcat has been on survey for a bit longer than anticipated this year, and we’re now expecting to have her back in service at the beginning of October. When she returns Superflyte will be taken to Whangarei and we expect her to return from survey in November.

Our brand new vessel Torea has arrived in Auckland, and you’ll start to see her on the Waiheke runs where she’ll join Te Kotuku and Korora after she’s been blessed and commissioned this week. 


Pier 1, Downtown Ferry Terminal – New Ticket Office Development

Building works starting Tuesday 22 August 2017

A new ticket office is being built on Pier 1 at Downtown Ferry Terminal. Work starts on Tuesday 22 August and it’s expected that work will be completed by late September.

The new ticket office will be shared by both Fullers and Auckland Transport, transforming it into both an AT Metro Customer Service Centre and a Fullers Ticket Office. Until it’s built, our ticket office will be temporarily be moved to a new site inside Pier 1 (directly opposite its current location) and it’ll be business as usual for our customers.

During this time we strongly recommend that ferry tickets are pre-purchased in advance to avoid any disruption to your day. You can also purchase Fullers paper tickets online at fullers.co.nz, via the MyFerry App and on board most vessels. We’ll also be extending our ticket office hours at Devonport until 8.30pm Monday to Sunday while work is being carried out.

Auckland Transport are working with the contractors to minimise any impact to customers and we appreciate your understanding during this time.
