Tour highlights

Enjoy a scenic guided tour across Waiheke, delicious seasonal lunch and a variety of tastings at four top venues on the Taste of Waiheke tour.

Head to Auckland’s Downtown Ferry Terminal and board the 10:15am Waiheke Reserve ferry to Waiheke Island from piers 13 and 14.

Upon arrival, exit Waiheke Island’s Matiatia Ferry Terminal where the Taste of Waiheke coach will meet.

Enjoy an olive oil tasting at Allpress Olive Groves, followed by a two-course lunch and a wine tasting at Batch Winery. Head up to Cable Bay Vineyards for a tasting and finally wind your way back to your last stop with a wine tasting at Mudbrick Vineyard.

The tour ends at Matiatia Ferry Terminal to catch the 4:15pm Fullers360 Waiheke Reserve ferry from pier 3, back to downtown Auckland.

The Taste of Waiheke tour will run from October through March runs on certain days throughout the peak season*. Bookings available now!

The Waiheke Reserve ferry is a seasonal ferry service to Waiheke Island operating from October to March. The Waiheke Reserve service lets visitors pre-book the date and departure times in advance of travel to and from Waiheke Island.
The Waiheke Reserve ferry sails at key visitor times throughout the peak season, offering bookable return sailings. The Taste of Waiheke tour will sail on the 10:15am Waiheke Reserve ferry from pier 13/14 in Auckland Ferry Terminal and 4:15pm Waiheke Reserve ferry from pier 3 in Matiatia Ferry Terminal. The Waiheke Reserve is the perfect choice for those with fixed travel schedules, return same day or book a return sailing up to three weeks from your date of departure.

The Taste of Waiheke tour offers a seamless experience, starting with a premium Waiheke Reserve ferry ride at 10:15 AM from downtown Auckland, returning at 4:15 PM from Matiatia Ferry Terminal. Upon arrival, you'll be greeted by your tour coach and guide, who will transport you across the island in a private coach. Enjoy wine tastings at Batch Winery, Cable Bay Vineyards, and Mudbrick Vineyard; a delectable two-course lunch at Batch Winery and an olive oil tasting at Allpress Olive Groves.
Absolutely! Extend your stay on Waiheke Island by simply informing your tour coach that you plan to remain after the tour ends. Your return Waiheke Reserve ferry ticket allows you to board any Fullers360 Waiheke Walk-up sailing within 12 months of the ticket date. Please note that Walk-up sailings are on demand, so during peak season, we recommend you arrive at least an hour before your preferred sailing.

Tour is for adults only. Children aged 16 years old or older may also attend, as long as they are accompanied by a parent or guardian.
