360 Discovery survey period

From now until mid-October our vessels will enter their winter survey period. This is where all of our vessels undergo inspection and we carry out any necessary repairs - you may have noticed that D7 was removed from service at the beginning of the week. We’ll be taking one vessel out of service at a time, and D6 will cover the majority of our vessels when this happens.

Whilst D7 is on survey, Discovery 3 will replace her, we do anticipate that the 16:45 AKL-Gulf Harbour service to operate close to capacity. To avoid disappointment, we encourage you to travel on D6 and Takahe on the 17:15 and 17:45 AKL-GH services

We’ll be closely monitoring passenger numbers and the capacity of each vessel during this time, and we’ll keep you updated when we can.

Kind Regards,

Jimbo

James Bailey - 360 Manager

Waiheke Bus Alert - Update on Moa Rd Diversion

Please be advised that Moa Ave will be closed in sections for roadworks over the next 3-6 weeks, between 6.00am - 6.30pm Monday to Friday.

The following diversion will be in place at all times due to the road not being suitable for our buses until roadworks are completed:

The top of Moa Ave between Oceanview Road - Manuka will be closed initially, which will cause our buses on route 1, 1a and 3 to make a slight diversion during these roadworks and they'll miss the two bus tops at the top of Moa Ave.

Please contact the Waiheke Bus Company on (09) 376 9111 for more information.
