For added certainty, choose the Waiheke Reserve bookable service, or alternatively travel on the Waiheke Walk-up ferry, arriving at least 60 minutes prior to your preferred sailing during busy summer periods.

Head to Auckland’s Downtown Ferry Terminal and board either your Fullers360 Waiheke Walk-up ferry from piers 11 and 12 or your Fullers360 Waiheke Reserve ferry from piers 13 and 14.

Upon arrival, exit Waiheke Island’s Matiatia Ferry Terminal and catch either the Eastern Explorer Bus or the Eastern Explorer private coach depending on your chosen lunch package. Look out for one of our friendly wharf ambassadors to help guide you to the correct bus. The buses depart directly in front of the terminal.

Eastern Long Lunch - FAQ's
The Waiheke Reserve is the primary passenger ferry service offering high frequency, regular sailings to Waiheke Island year-round. A Waiheke Reserve ticket is valid for that sailing, customers that wish to enjoy their stay on Waiheke can get on any scheduled Waiheke Walk-up sailing, up to a year from purchase date.
The Waiheke Reserve ferry will depart from piers 13 and 14 at the downtown Auckland Ferry Terminal and the Waiheke Walk-up ferry departs from piers 11 and 12 at the downtown Auckland Ferry Terminal. Customers will need to be on the 10:15am service to Waiheke Island to ensure they are on time for the tour.
The Waiheke Reserve ferry will depart from pier 3 at the Matiatia Ferry Terminal and the Waiheke Walk-up will depart at pier 1 at the Matiatia Ferry Terminal. Your ticket is valid for the time indicated on your ticket.
The Eastern Long Lunch offers a seamless experience, starting with a Waiheke Walk-up ferry or the Waiheke Reserve (depending of the package you choose) ride from downtown Auckland and returning from Matiatia Ferry Terminal. Upon arrival, you'll be greeted by your tour coach and guide or our Eastern explorer bus depending on your lunch venue, who will transport you across the island. Enjoy your long lunch at Waiheke Distilling Co., Poderi Crisci, Passage Rock or Man O' War vineyards.
Absolutely! Extend your stay on Waiheke Island by simply informing your tour coach that you plan to remain after the tour ends. Your return Waiheke Walk-up ferry ticket allows you to board any Fullers360 Waiheke Walk-up sailing within 12 months of the ticket date.
Terms and conditions
Tour is for adults only. Children aged 16 years old or older may also attend, as long as they are accompanied by a parent or guardian.
