Pier changes at Downtown Ferry Terminal May Cause Delays From Monday, 6 January 2020

As work progresses on the Downtown Ferry Terminal project and public space, Auckland Transport is making changes to some ferry services.

From Monday 6 January 2020 Pine Harbour service will move from Pier 3 to Pier 1C. This will be effective until Pier 6 is ready to use in a few months.

Due to shared berths, there may be delays to some of our ferry services during this time.

TRAVEL ADVICE: Please allow extra travel time if you use the Half Moon Bay service.

Thank you for your patience - we appreciate your understanding.

All Services Tuesday 21.01.2020

Tuesday 21.01.2020

Cruise ships have arrived earlier this morning at the Princess Wharf and the Queens Wharf. These are scheduled to depart today at 10:00 pm and 7:00 pm respectively. Please note that this could have an impact on all our ferry services.

TRAVEL ADVICE: Please allow extra travel time, as it’s unsafe for ferries to move while a cruise ship is maneuvering in the Ferry Basin.

Due to high volume of cruise ship visitors, there may be larger queues and possible delays as boarding will take longer.

Thank you for your patience and we appreciate your understanding.
