Locals Lane helps ensures Waiheke residents are able to board their preferred sailings and get home during especially busy times in the summer season.
Through 28 April 2019
9.00am – 6.00pm
3.00pm – 6.00pm
Outside of the specific Locals Lane operating hours, we’ll continue to monitor the wharf and open Locals Lane when queues are unexpectedly long.
While our team will check that customers have one of these pass types, please understand that the Locals Lane is intended for Waiheke residents, and will use their best judgment when allowing use of this queue.
Locals Lane is not a priority boarding system. It’s simply intended to make sure all Waiheke residents are able to make it on to their preferred sailing during especially busy times of day.
Customers must be in the Locals Lane at least 10 minutes prior to the scheduled sailing to ensure they’re able to board the vessel. We board both queues at the same time, and do our very best to allow all Waiheke residents who are in the queue 10 minutes before the service to board.
If you have any questions, please ask our ticket office staff or wharf hosts for any clarification about Locals Lane.
