Onetangi Beach Races 2018
The Onetangi Beach Races have held a place in Waiheke’s history since the 1800s, but for nearly 20 years Rotary have organised this annual family fun day as a charity event to give back to the Waiheke community. This is a great family day with events and activities to keep everyone entertained and involved all day long. More information to come!
A Summer Evening Adventure
Summer nights were made for this. Hop on a Waiheke-bound ferry mid-afternoon, and get ready to soar through the treetops on 600-metre zipline. After the adrenaline rush, enjoy wine tastings and a locally-sourced dinner at a vineyard – all before sailing back to the city beneath the stars. Go ahead… take a half-day at the office and book the Zip, Wine & Twilight Dine experience. You deserve it!
Watch the Sunset at Bach Winery
Situated high on a hill, Bach Winery offers amazing 360-degree views. The vista point is made even more epic by the setting sun. The relaxed-style dinner menu doesn’t disappoint – from classic Kiwi onion dip to house spoked meats and smashed raspberry pavlova.
Stunning Onetangi Beach
This this local favourite is Waiheke Island’s best (and biggest!) swimming beach. It offers 2.5 km of white sand, and even superb surf when the northerly winds blow. Grab a coffee, brunch evening meal at two waterfront restaurants – Charley Farley’s and The Boathouse. Our flexible Hop-on Hop-off tour stops right here!
